Bissell Brothers is located in a 100-year-old former railway building. It rests on a small peninsula known as Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine, where the Fore River meets Casco Bay. Our brewery was designed to create and sell the style-defining hoppy ales that put the company on the map, and attracts visitors from down the street and around the world seven days a week.
Over time, Bissell Brothers has expanded to become a restaurant, sports bar, and event space all in one. But one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to brewing style-defining craft beer with high-quality local ingredients.
We also offer Bissell Breeze Hard Tea, Bissell Fizz Vodka Seltzer, and non-alcoholic Bissell Bubbles hop water alongside a full cocktail menu, wine selection, ciders, and more.

Bissell Brothers Kitchen is a culinary experience brought to you from our Portland brewery and taproom. We use as much local produce, meat, and seafood as possible with a menu featuring sandwiches, salads, snacks, and more.
