It wasn’t us! Parking on Thompson’s Point is managed and enforced 24/7/365 by a third party unaffiliated with Bissell Brothers. We do our best to remind our customers to pay for parking and have signage at our entrance. If you don’t pay, your vehicle will be ticketed.
You can pay and display a printed receipt on your dashboard via the kiosks that are set up throughout the lot, OR you can use the same app the city of Portland uses for public street parking to pay by plate. It’s called Passport — you can download it here. Anywhere you park on Thompson’s Point is considered ZONE 1213. Please see the kiosks in the parking lot for further information, or head to Thompson’s Point’s Parking FAQs.
There is a Greater Portland Metro bus service stop right next to the brewery. If you’re on foot or biking, the Portland Trail System connects right to Thompson’s Point via the Fore River Trail. Last but not least, taxis or ride share services are always a solid option. If you’re from away, The Portland Transportation Center is a 7 minute walk from our brewery and taproom, which has both an Amtrak Downeaster (train) and Concord Trailways (bus) station.

We are unable to ship beverages directly from the brewery at this time, with the exception of our THC Seltzer Bissell Buds. A limited selection of our beers are available to ship to certain locations in the USA via our partners at Tavour.

Humulone, a type of organic acid, is a bitter-tasting chemical compound found in the resin of mature hops (Humulus lupulus). It’s a prevalent member of a class of compounds known as alpha acids, which give hoppy beer its characteristic bitter flavor.
