Yes! Bissell Brothers Kitchen is located at our Portland HQ. Three Rivers Kitchen is located at our Milo location, and we occasionally invite some of our favorite guest vendors to pop up there as well.
Table reservations at our Portland HQ are available by request. Call our taproom with your desired date, time, and party size at 207-808-8258 for more information and to make a reservation. Please see our Private Events page to inquire about reserving space for larger groups.
We do not take reservations for our Three Rivers location. Seating and service (for both drinks and food) are available on a first-come, first-serve basis regardless of the size of your party.

Brands listed at the links above are available either on draft, to go, or both – please note the icons to the right of each brand name. For the most current list of available beer, please call ahead during business hours or refer to in-taproom signage.
Our Portland HQ release schedule is updated each Monday on our website. Three Rivers receives a truck of fresh beer from Portland each Wednesday – please follow them on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
It wasn’t us! Parking on Thompson’s Point is managed and enforced 24/7 365 by a third party unaffiliated with Bissell Brothers. We do our best to remind our customers to pay for parking verbally and via signage at both of our entrances – but if you don’t pay, they will ticket your vehicle. We recommend paying upon arrival to avoid being ticketed.
You can pay and display a printed receipt on your dashboard via the kiosks that are set up throughout the lot, OR you can use the same app the city of Portland uses for public street parking to pay by plate. It’s called Passport – you can download it here. Anywhere you park on Thompson’s Point is considered ZONE 1213. Please see the kiosks in the parking lot for further information, or head to Thompson’s Point’s Parking FAQs.
The Portland Transportation Center is a 7 minute walk from our brewery and taproom, which has both an Amtrak Downeaster (train) and Concord Trailways (bus) station. If you’re local, there is a brand new Greater Portland Metro bus service stop right next to the brewery. And the Portland Trail System connects right to Thompson’s Point via the Fore River Trail, which is an easy way to get here on foot or by bike. Last but not least, taxis or ride share services are always a solid option.
We do not offer flights because we believe our beers should be enjoyed individually for the best drinking experience. We offer recommend pour sizes depending on the style beer you order (ex. 12oz/16oz/20oz). That said, samples and half-pours of all of our beers are always available upon request.
Maybe! We release Swish on a regular basis throughout the colder months only, with the last release of the season usually scheduled for springtime. Please check our lists of available beer (for our Portland or Three Rivers location) to see what’s currently in stock.
No, we are unable to ship beer at this time. You can, however, find our merch available online to ship anywhere in the USA at shopbissellbrothers.com.

As much we love dogs, we can not allow them in our Portland taproom or out on our patio unless they are service animals.
We DO allow dogs in the Three Rivers taproom and on the patio – but they must be on a leash at all times and well-behaved.
We are honored you would think of us for your special event! Please go to our Private Events page for more information and to place an inquiry. Our Event Coordinator will get back to you ASAP.
Humulone, a type of organic acid, is a bitter-tasting chemical compound found in the resin of mature hops (Humulus lupulus). It’s a prevalent member of a class of compounds known as alpha acids, which give hoppy beer its characteristic bitter flavor.
