This entry to our You Earned It series is High & Tight: a Koji Rice Lager. You Earned It is a program in which our team members take turns brewing a batch of beer on our pilot system. A portion of the sales from draft pours and cans sold are donated to a non-profit of their choice.

Bissell Brothers Line Cook Alex “Doc” Szabo brewed High & Tight to benefit Autistic Self Advocacy Network: a national grassroots organization fighting for disability rights for the autistic community, run by and for autistic people.

We hope you enjoy this unique offering, brewed with rice inoculated with Koji and left to ferment before the rest of the grain was mixed in. The resulting beer is a bright, crushable rice lager perfect for the onset of summery weather – with uniquely floral notes and a subtle hit of umami funkiness added by the Koji-fication process.
