Clean Water Act Anniversary Party with Sebago Clean Waters
October 18th marks 50 years since the passage of our nation’s Clean Water Act, which has played a critical role in Maine and across the nation in improving the quality of our waterways. Clean water means good beer, so we are thrilled to celebrate the anniversary in our taproom with our friends Sebago Clean Waters: a coalition of organizations working to protect and conserve the forested land that surrounds our state’s largest natural drinking supply.
We’ll be highlighting some of Natural Resources Council of Maine’s Clean Water Champions, donating 100% of all draft from 5-7pm to Sebago Clean Waters, raffling off sweet prizes from us, Stroudwater Distillery, and Rwanda Bean, the Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine will be here with some water-dwelling special guests, plus our friends from Maine Fly Co. will be in the house showing off their goods. To top it all off, Ghee will be in the Kitchen – so come hungry! Hope to see you there.
