We are excited to partner with writer and climate sociologist Kate Olson on our first climate action happy hour! Climate change is going to profoundly shape the Maine places we love so much. Join us for a fun, interactive event to learn more about how you can integrate climate action into your life at home, work, and in your community. 5% of all sales during the event will go to Wabanaki Public Health and Wellness, a community-driven non-profit that serves all Wabanaki communities in Maine. The Wabanaki have been stewarding the lands and waters of Maine for over 12,000 years and their sovereignty, well-being, and knowledges are critical for slowing down and adapting to climate change.

About the speaker: Kate Olson, PhD, is a climate sociologist and writer based in Freeport. Kate leads LivingChange, a collaborative project that inspires people to connect places they love to local climate action through community, art, and storytelling.
