Join local artist James Sylvester for an all-ages collaborative block printing workshop to celebrate the beginning of summer. In this workshop, you will learn basic printmaking skills in order to create your own unique block printed scene using stamps carved by James, featuring imagery inspired by summer in Maine, Bissell Brothers, and the upcoming 4th of July holiday!

You can choose to do this workshop independently or collaborate with friends and/or family. No artistic skills required, just bring yourself and whoever you think it would be fun to collaborate on a piece of artwork with. The workshop will run from 5-8pm and costs $10 per print. Each print takes an average of 30 minutes to make and will be yours to take home with you when finished. You may show up at any time during the workshop and stay for as long as you would like, and make as many prints as you want. All supplies will be provided.
